controls the VMX 450 while a powerful V Series 540 class brushless
system puts the power to the ground via the miniature steel roller
chain.The
VMX rear wheel features a patent pending highly adjustable gyro that
enables the VMX to stay upright at slow speeds. The innovative design
centers the gyro mass to give the VMX balanced control and can be
adjusted to suit drive styles and track conditions. The design team went even further and developed the only full function off road RC motorcycle
tires in the industry. The front and rear wheels and tires feature
Venom's proprietary concept Beadlox and Griplox wheel and tire system.
The scale looking MXR-1 race tires are captured in a bead locking wheel
while the tire volume is filled with a form filling molded insert.
The VMX chassis is an exercise in compact functional space management while keeping the true
to life look of a full scale 450 moto-cross bike. The body set is very detailed and realistic
looking, styled after contemporary 450 race bikes.The VMX 450
has a unique trap door style locking battery compartment that will
accommodate 2S Lithium Polymer battery packs. A
highly detailed Neocell foam rider figure completes the package. The VMX 450 comes RTR and includes everything needed except a 2S LiPo battery for the bike (see below) and 8 AA alkalines for the transmitter.

*IMPORTANT: The Venom VMX 450 is optimized to run on a 2-Cell Lithium Polymer (LiPO) Battery Pack. Due
to the high power demands of the VMX 450, Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH)
batteries should not be used. The use of a 3-Cell LiPO Battery Pack will
destroy the stock motor and will void the product warranty. So be sure to use a 2-Cell LiPo battery pack!
