This is the Airtronics 94780M Digital High Speed High Power Precision RC Servo with Metal Gear and ball bearings. It features an all metal gear train, highest power in class handling, superior speed and resolution - it produces full power as soon as it moves! The case is the same size as the popular analog 94358Z. It's the highest-torque servo in a standard case that's available on the market. It's as fast as many other servos with much lower torque. Inside and out, this servo is built for reliability and performance. The mid-section of the case has a heat-sink for motor cooling. Pilots of large scale RC aircraft and drivers of larger off-road remote control vehicles appreciate the immense power, quality and value in this servo, making it the most popular and widely accepted servo amongst the Airtronics Team world-class champion drivers and pilots in the larger classes. All internal parts are completely serviceable, so that you can keep your servo in top condition for years to come. Airtronics servos feature custom I.C.'s, Surface Mount Technology (SMT) construction, and splined output shafts for easier control surface adjustments. The molded neoprene vibration isolators and injection-molded servo cases ensure superior strength and long lasting durability. As with all Airtronics High-Power servos, this servo comes with mounting hardware and a heavy-duty servo arm. Airtronics Blue Z-Plugs are compatible with most standard systems today including Futaba, Hitec, and JR FEATURES: Weight: 2.01 oz (57 gr) Dimensions: 1.54 x 0.79 x 1.47 (39.1 x 20.1 x 37.3mm) Torque: @ 4 8v = 156 Oz/In (11.2 Kg/cm), @ 6.0v = 194 Oz/In (14.0 Kg/cm) Speed: @ 4.8v = 0.15 sec/60 deg, @ 6.0v = 0.12 sec/60 deg Standard 3 Pole Motor Metal Gears with Two Ball Bearings Note: high-power servos such as this can draw as much as 5 amps. Make sure your switch harness, servo extensions, and power source (receiver battery or BEC) can meet the demands of this servo. Normal "standard" radio switch harnesses and small 500mAH batteries typically cannot supply enough current for this servo, especially when multiple servos are used. Advantages of Digital Servos: Analog Servos only develop their full power when stalled and/or at extreme movement. Digital servos develop full power as soon as they move, thus making a digital servo stronger, even if it specs the same as a comparable analog. Digital servos more accurately translate and hold your command inputs from your transmitter so you feel more connected to your model. A digital servo stays in the position you command with all of its power, virtually eliminating the blow back found with normal analog servos. Centering is accurate and reliable, even in the lowest-priced Airtronics Digital servos.
