This is the 2.4GHz Airtronics RDS8000 Radio paired wiith an Airtronics 92824 2.4 GHz receiver which is included. The RDS8000 is a full-featured 8-channel
digital rc radio system, packed with capabilities for all types of RC aircraft. Users love the RDS8000's
ease-of-operation and programming. The RDS8000 makes programming easier by allowing you to turn off any programming screen not required and a key feature is the ability to use both its basic and advanced program menus. Helicopter, fixed wing aircraft and
sailplane pilots all benefit when using the standard features of
the RDS8000.
The 92824 2.4 GHz Receiver is an 8 channel
receiver which measures 1.8"x 1.1"x 0.60",
and weighs in at a tiny .53 oz. The antenna of the receiver
is two wires that extend from the receiver.
The servo and battery
connections are the standard "Z" connectors.
The receiver can be used with any standard servos on
the market.
The standard channels for this receiver are throttle,
rudder, ailerons, elevators, gear, flaps, and two auxiliary
channels. If all 8 channels are used for controlling
servos, a Y-harness will be needed in order to connect
the battery to the receiver, with a servo plugged into
one side of the Y-harness and the battery plugged into
the other side. One standard
on/off charge switch harness is included with the RDS8000. This allows the receiver
battery to be charged while in the plane. The 92824 RX is a perfect
match for the RDS8000 TX. Once binding is complete, it is
almost impossible to interrupt the communication between them.
Includes transmitter battery and charger - Does not include servos or receiver battery.
Note: This version of the RDS8000 is Mode 2 and the throttle with ratchet is on
the left. (The Crawler version is Mode 1 with no ratchet) Both Sticks
self-center. Transmitter Battery and Charger are included. Servos and receiver battery are not included.
