Using coaxial technology -- dual rotors and counter-rotating blades -- and a flybar, for added stability, Verticar is pretty easy to handle, even for someone new to flying RC helicopters. If you're flying indoors, be sure to turn off any ceiling fans--because it weighs so little, that even a slight breeze can affect its performance. Also, because it is so small and light-weight with very narrow wheels, it does not roll well over bumpy terrain.  When it's in car mode, it needs a smooth surface to run on.  During testing, our Verticar bumped into walls, ceilings, furniture... without getting damaged.  The transmitter includes a trim control dial and we had to adjust it to keep it from spinning or moving forward when hovering.  The package includes a set of replacement blades and a small Phillips head screwdriver.  The screwdriver's used to remove the small screw that secures the door to the battery compartment on the transmitter.  You'll have to add your own AA alkaline batteries to the transmitter.  Six AA batteries are required.

Among its features are the ability to synchronize on one of 3 different channels, so that more than one Verticar can fly in the same area without causing interference; rechargeable on-board LiPo battery; and flashing LEDs for added visibility at dusk or when overcast. It comes fully assembled with everything you need except six AA batteries.  The transmitter is used to charge the battery that's inside the Verticar.
